- High elongation conforms to uneven subgrades
Product Introduction
Nonwoven Needlepunch Geotextile – N Series
Needlepunched nonwoven geotextile produced from polypropylene fibres that are mechanically interlocked by barbed needles. The resulting fabric combines high permeability with good elongation, allowing it to conform to uneven ground while maintaining its filtration performance.
The N Series runs from N40 (4 oz/yd²) up to N16 (16 oz/yd²), so the same product family covers everything from light separation duty to heavy cushioning under geomembrane liners. All grades retain 70 % of strength after 500 hrs of UV exposure.
Strengths
- High water permeability across the fabric plane
- High elongation conforms to irregular subgrades
- Resistant to UV, chemical substances and micro-organisms
Function
- Separation
- Filtration
- Drainage
- Protection
Applications
- Separation layer between subgrade and aggregate
- Filtration in subsurface and French drain systems
- Cushion and protection layer for geomembrane liners
- Erosion control beneath riprap and revetments
