Slit Film Woven Geotextile
Woven from flat slit film tapes, giving a tight, dense fabric with high tensile strength. It is the workhorse separation and stabilization geotextile — the tight weave that gives it strength also gives it lower flow than monofilament, so it is specified where load carrying matters more than drainage.
Supplied in three standard grades — W200, W250 and W315 — covering AASHTO M288 Class 3, Class 2 and Class 1 requirements respectively, with grab tensile from 200 lbs to 315 lbs and CBR puncture resistance from 700 lbs to 1000 lbs.
